By downloading, installing, or using the VegeBuddy mobile application (“App”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service (“Terms”). If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use our App.

VegeBuddy is a community-driven mobile application that helps users discover vegetarian and vegan food options, share their experiences, and connect with like-minded individuals. Our services include:

• Discovering vegetarian restaurants and food places
• Scanning food products for vegetarian/vegan suitability
• Sharing posts, photos, and reviews with the community
• Participating in events and challenges
• Earning rewards and achievements

To access certain features, you must create an account. You agree to:

• Provide accurate and complete registration information
• Maintain the security of your account credentials
• Notify us immediately of any unauthorized access
• Be responsible for all activities under your account

You must be at least 13 years old to create an account and use our services.

You retain ownership of content you post (“User Content”). By posting content, you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to use, display, reproduce, and distribute your content within the App and for promotional purposes.

You agree not to post content that:

• Is false, misleading, or deceptive
• Is defamatory, obscene, or offensive
• Infringes on intellectual property rights
• Contains malware or harmful code
• Violates any applicable laws

Users must:

• Treat others with respect and courtesy
• Post honest and accurate reviews
• Not engage in harassment, bullying, or discrimination
• Not spam or post irrelevant content
• Report inappropriate content or behavior

The App, including its design, features, and content (excluding User Content), is owned by VegeBuddy and protected by intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or reverse engineer any part of the App without our written permission.

The App may contain links to or integrate with third-party services. We are not responsible for the content, privacy policies, or practices of these services. Your use of third-party services is at your own risk.

The App may display advertisements from third-party providers. These providers may collect information about your app usage for advertising purposes. See our Privacy Policy for more details.

The App is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee:

• The accuracy of restaurant information or reviews
• The dietary suitability of any food items
• Uninterrupted or error-free service
• The security of user data beyond reasonable measures

To the maximum extent permitted by law, VegeBuddy shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the App, including but not limited to dietary reactions, health issues, or reliance on user-generated content.

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless VegeBuddy and its affiliates from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your violation of these Terms or your use of the App.

We may suspend or terminate your account at any time for violations of these Terms or for any other reason at our discretion. Upon termination, your right to use the App ceases immediately.

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms. We will notify users of significant changes through the App or email.

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Malaysia, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
